Founded in 2018, the Resiliency Planning Collaborative seeks to bridge the divide between academic research and professional practice by cultivating meaningful connections, advancing resilient community development, and ensuring the long-term protection of natural resources.
We believe that resiliency is not just about responding to crises—it’s about proactively shaping landscapes, institutions, and communities to thrive in the face of change.
MISSION
We empower communities to plan for uncertainty, adapt to challenges, and thrive in the face of environmental, social, and economic shifts. By combining local knowledge with expertise, we co-create strategies that protect people, places, and livelihoods.
